Is the TV show Tango available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we take a look at Tango (2018) — a tight, intimate drama that moves like a milonga, following a quadrant of dancers as they step through love, breakups and the darker turns of grief. With characters who argue over the right rhythm after a split — from careful leads and follows to a startlingly extreme belief that suicide is the final step — the series keeps you in close embrace with moral and emotional tension. This article checks whether Tango is currently available to stream on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, and where to find it without losing the beat. Trigger warning: the show addresses suicide. As far as records go, Tango (2018) does not appear to have received major international awards.
Synopsis
A close-knit quartet of tango dancers grapples with heartbreak and the question of how to move on, their rehearsals doubling as a forum for heated debates about love and loyalty. Each member defends a different way of coping — reinvention, confrontation, withdrawal, or pragmatic detachment — and their conflicting outlooks expose buried resentments and fragile bonds. One dancer, however, takes an alarmingly extreme stance, claiming that ending her life is the only true response to a broken relationship, which forces the group to face moral responsibility, the limits of empathy, and the real consequences of romantic despair. Through intimate scenes on and off the dance floor, the series examines passion, dependency, and the choices that bind or break people apart.
