The Boat

Synopsis

A deadly mishap during the commissioning of a particle accelerator in Geneva triggers a worldwide catastrophe, leaving the crew and students aboard the school-ship Polar Star cut off from the rest of humanity. Stranded at sea with no outside help, they must turn their vessel into a self-contained community, where classmates become family and daily survival forces them to grow up fast. As shortages, unforeseen threats, and internal tensions mount, the Polar Star becomes both refuge and testing ground—pushing its occupants to redefine leadership, loyalty and what it means to build a future when the world they knew has vanished.
