Is the TV show The Bureau available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we’re taking stock of The Bureau (2015), the slow-burning DGSE drama that follows the Office of Legends and its agents living "under legend" in long-term clandestine covers. Centered on a handler who returns from six years in Damascus and refuses to abandon his fabricated identity, the series is all about tradecraft, surveillance, duplicity and the dangerous seams between real life and cover life. Widely praised by critics, The Bureau has picked up several festival honors and industry recognitions. In this article, we’ll check current streaming availability — is it on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ — and what to expect in terms of seasons, subtitles and regional restrictions.
Synopsis
Within France’s external intelligence agency, a secretive unit known as the Office of Legends (BDL) runs and supports the country’s most sensitive clandestine operatives, directing their missions and handling them remotely. These agents are plunged into hostile environments for years at a time, living entirely fabricated lives — or “legends” — to infiltrate networks and identify potential sources. After a six‑year deployment in Damascus, the protagonist returns to Paris but cannot abandon the persona he created in Syria. By clinging to that false identity and breaking protocol, he sets in motion a chain of consequences that threatens colleagues, operations and the integrity of the whole clandestine apparatus.
