Synopsis
Shizuku Kanzaki, long estranged from his celebrated wine-critic father and having never once tasted wine, is thrust into an unfamiliar world when his father dies unexpectedly. He discovers the inheritance hinges on a contest with Issei Tomine, the critic’s adopted protégé, forcing Shizuku to learn the art of wine tasting from scratch. Guided by an eccentric, passionate sommelier-in-training, he uncovers a newfound appreciation for wine’s subtleties and, along the way, begins to piece together a deeper understanding of the distant man who raised him.
