Synopsis

Set against the turmoil of the Kenmu Restoration between the Kamakura and Muromachi eras, a young scion of the Hōjō clan, Hojo Tokiyuki, is driven into exile after Ashikaga Takauji topples his family. Accompanied only by a morally ambiguous priest and the priest’s discreet retinue, he embarks on a perilous quest to avenge his house and reclaim lost honor. His one inhuman edge is an uncanny ability to vanish, flee and hide from foes—forcing him to rely on stealth, cunning and the loyalty of a few shadowed allies rather than open warfare.
