Is the TV show The Painted Soul available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

The Painted Soul (2026) unspools a world where a single stroke can bend reality. Apprentice painter Yun Hwa faces a decade of failed canvases and a make-or-break promotion exam when she breaks into a sealed annex and wakes Seol Jin, a spirit painter whose deadly Dohwasal should have killed anyone nearby — except her. Their entwined brushes, the strict authority of Shinpilwon and the forbidden art that shapes life and death set the series’ stakes: survival, memory, and the power of paint to rewrite fate. If you’re wondering where to watch, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and AppleTV+ are the platforms to check — availability depends on your country and release windows. If The Painted Soul has picked up festival prizes or industry awards, those will be noted below along with the up-to-date streaming status tracked by our team.

Synopsis

Yun Hwa is an apprentice painter in a world where brushstrokes can reshape reality and the finest artists serve Shinpilwon, the royal institution that enforces order through art. With her final promotion exam looming, she faces an impossible hurdle: after a decade, she still hasn't completed a single successful work. Desperate, she breaks into a forbidden annex and accidentally awakens Seol Jin, a legendary spirit painter sealed away a century earlier. Seol Jin bears the lethal Dohwasal—a supernatural curse that has claimed many lives—yet, mysteriously, it has no effect on Yun Hwa; instead, her brush becomes the fragile lifeline that might restore him. Thrown together by fate, the two form an uneasy alliance, forced to rely on one another to survive and, ultimately, to challenge and remake the destiny of their world.
