Synopsis
Fifteen years after the assassination of a powerful casino tycoon shattered their childhoods, two boys who were drawn into the scandal took opposite paths: one grew up as the public heir, hollowed out by grief and expectation; the other bore the stigma of his father’s crime, marked by suspicion and shame. As adults their lives collide — one now a relentless prosecutor, the other a tenacious investigator — and they uncover a sprawling network of corruption that stretches from a dominant corporate empire into the heart of the prosecution itself. Forced to confront old wounds and new betrayals, they peel back layers of deceit that threaten to destroy them both. In a tense, emotionally charged mystery-thriller, the two men become each other’s greatest weakness and their last chance at redemption.
