Synopsis

When a research institute perfects a device capable of creating and controlling weather, its military deployment sparks a series of catastrophic atmospheric events that endanger life worldwide. Dr. Jonathan Kirk and fellow scientist Danni Wilson join forces with detectives Devon Williams and Stilman to halt the escalating disaster, while Kirk himself becomes the target of hired assassins trying to silence him. This 2009 American science-fiction disaster miniseries was directed by Bradford May, written by David Abramowitz and Dennis A. Pratt from an earlier teleplay by Matthew Chernov and David Rosiak, and aired in two parts on NBC on July 26 and August 2, 2009.
