Synopsis
Born in 1374, during the upheaval between the Northern and Southern Courts, a child named Oniyasha arrives into the cramped world of a sarugaku troupe. He drifts through youth wrapped in a gentle melancholy, fixated on one stubborn question: why do people dance? When he finally encounters a single performance that feels unmistakably "right," his inward stillness is ruptured and a new hunger takes hold. The series follows this haunting, beautiful boy as his curiosity and talent transform ritual and theatre alike, setting him on the path to reshape Noh and to be remembered as Zeami.
