We Never Learn: BOKUBEN

Synopsis

In his final, most grueling year of high school, Nariyuki Yuiga has one chance to win a coveted "Special VIP Recommendation"—a guaranteed full college scholarship—and the catch is that he must tutor several classmates preparing for entrance exams. Among his pupils are Fumino Furuhashi, a dreamy literary prodigy often called the "sleeping beauty" of the literature circle, and Rizu Ogata, a tiny but brilliant mind nicknamed the "Thumbelina supercomputer." Feared as academic elites, both girls turn out to be virtuosos only in their chosen specialties and utterly lost outside them, leaving Nariyuki to juggle awkward, touching, and often hilarious lessons as he fights to secure his future.
