Synopsis
Fifteen strangers are invited to Taohuawu, a retreat located 15 kilometers from the city, to spend twenty-one days living together and attempting to create their own model community. Removed from the urban bustle, they must organize daily life, share responsibilities, and design the rules and rituals that will govern their collective existence. Under continuous observation, the experiment follows how cooperation and conflict shape routines, work, and relationships, revealing the compromises and innovations that emerge when people try to harmonize diverse needs and ambitions. More than a social challenge, the series explores what forms the basis of shared life—practical arrangements, shared ideals, or deeper emotional bonds—and whether an “ideal” community can be built through dialogue, labor, and mutual adaptation.
