Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

Synopsis

Timid and frequently picked on, Yugi Muto is the kind of kid bullies single out. He clings to the Millennium Puzzle, an ancient Egyptian relic that found its way into his grandfather’s games shop, believing that solving it will grant his deepest wish. When he finally completes the puzzle, a powerful alternate consciousness is released—the spirit of a legendary duelist known as the King of Games. This other self, Yami Yugi, is everything Yugi is not: ruthless and commanding. Whenever injustice is done to him, Yami Yugi takes control of Yugi’s body and drags his opponent into a dangerous, supernatural duel called a Shadow Game.
