Synopsis
In their elegant Connecticut home, Agnes and Tobias have adapted to a marriage marked by fragility and small, tolerated flaws. Silently carrying the weight of their son's death, they manage a steady, if subdued, domestic life: Agnes's hard-drinking sister drifts in and out, and worried friends are given refuge in a spare room upstairs.
