Synopsis
Gus Vermeulen and Achille Mironval, thriving partners in the cheese trade, hope to cement their prosperity by arranging a marriage between their children. Their scheme, however, is threatened when Achille’s son Jean-Pierre rejects the family business in favor of a dream to lead a jazz band, and Gus’s obsession with spiritualism stirs discord between the two men. After a series of misunderstandings and tensions, the rifts are healed and balance is restored to both family and enterprise.
