Synopsis

During the height of the Aztec empire, Yohualli Coatl’s life is shattered when Spanish conquistadors slaughter his father. Fleeing toward the capital, he races to Tenochtitlán to alert Emperor Moctezuma and the royal priest Yoka of the looming threat. Under the tutelage of a master in the temple of the bat god Tzinacan, Yohualli hones his skills and invents new weapons and protective gear to stand against the invaders. As he prepares for the coming conflict and seeks justice for his family, he crosses paths with a fierce warrior known as the Jaguar Woman and the ambitious conquistador Hernán Cortés, setting the stage for a clash that will decide the fate of his people.
