Is the movie The Empire Strikes Back available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

Forty-plus years after it first hit hyperspace, The Empire Strikes Back (1980) remains the darker, more daring chapter of the original Star Wars saga. Luke Skywalker seeks out the reclusive Yoda to learn the ways of the Jedi, while Darth Vader tightens his grip on the Rebel Alliance after the Battle of Hoth — and the film’s twists and character moments still resonate like a well-tuned lightsaber. Critically acclaimed, Episode V earned multiple Academy Award nominations and took home Oscars for its technical achievements, notably in visual effects and sound — recognition that helped cement its place as a milestone of blockbuster filmmaking.
