Synopsis
On Chicago’s South Side, a neighborhood barbershop left to Calvin after his father’s death feels like nothing more than a liability. Fed up, he sells the struggling shop to a local loan shark, only to watch the place—and the community it served—shift under new hands. As memories of his father and the shop’s quiet purpose resurface, Calvin is forced to reckon with the values he dismissed and the growing guilt of having sold what his father built.
