Synopsis
For two years, high-school security guard Ben has been trying to prove to decorated APD detective James that he's more than a video-game addict unworthy of James's sister, Angela. When Ben finally gets into the police academy, he assumes he's earned James's respect and asks for his blessing to marry Angela. Skeptical, James forces Ben on a brutal overnight ride-along meant to push the rookie to his breaking point. But when the shift spirals into a confrontation with the city's most notorious criminal, James discovers that Ben's lightning-fast mouth can be as perilous—and as decisive—as the gunfire coming their way.
