Synopsis
Ajay Dixit, a high-school history teacher whose carefully constructed persona has made him a small-town celebrity, hides a fragile private life beneath the applause. Newly married, he and his wife live at arm’s length, their relationship brittle and unspoken. When circumstances force them to embark together on a European itinerary following the sites and stories of World War II, the journey becomes a mirror for the truths he has long avoided. As they walk through battlefields and memorials, Ajay must confront the deception that sustained him — can their marriage survive the trip, and can he win the quieter, more difficult war inside himself?
