Is the movie Blow available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
From the Stream Tracker team — Blow (2001) is Ted Demme’s drug‑fueled biopic of George Jung, the small‑town kid who builds a cocaine empire, only to watch it all crumble into prison time and broken ties. Starring Johnny Depp and based on true events, the film follows Jung’s descent from California marijuana hustles to big‑league smuggling with the Medellín cartel — a classic rise‑and‑fall story of money, addiction and the hollow promise of the American Dream. If you’re looking to stream this gritty trip through the drug trade, this article checks whether Blow is available on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ or Apple TV+ (and notes regional differences so you can find where to watch).
Synopsis
George Jung grows up in a struggling 1950s household where his father’s inability to provide plunges the family into ruin. Determined to avoid the same fate, he seizes an opportunity in the 1960s when a friend steers him toward marijuana dealing. He becomes a major player in California’s booming scene, but an arrest behind bars introduces him to the far more lucrative world of cocaine. After his release he builds a vast smuggling operation that brings immense wealth—and with it violent rivals, relentless law enforcement, and personal devastation. His meteoric rise eventually collapses, forcing him to face the heavy consequences of the life he chose.
