Body Slam

Synopsis

Harry Smilac is a down-and-out music manager who can’t seem to sign talent or land anything better than a Dairy Queen grand-opening for his band, Kicks. While arranging entertainment for a campaign fundraiser, he innocently mistakes Rick Roberts—a burly professional wrestler—for a musician and hires him, plunging Harry into the world of sports entertainment. Forced to reinvent himself, he starts managing Rick and his partner Tonga Tom, booking matches that quickly turn the duo into crowd favorites. Riding that momentum, Harry merges his two worlds, mounting a cross-promotional "Rock 'n' Wrestling" tour that pairs the band with the wrestling team. The improbable gamble pays off, restoring Harry’s confidence as he experiences success again.
