Synopsis
Chuck Noland, a senior international manager at FedEx engaged to Kelly, a Ph.D. student, is preparing for a future together when a violent storm sends his flight bound for Malaysia crashing into the ocean. Miraculously the lone survivor, he washes up on a remote, uninhabited island. Cut off from civilization and rescue, Chuck must summon ingenuity, resourcefulness and emotional strength to find food, build shelter, improvise tools and confront the isolation if he hopes to survive and return home.
