Synopsis
Vera Latour, mother to a small boy named Jackie, implores her husband Pierre — a famed aviator — to give up his death-defying stunts. He reluctantly consents, but after Pierre’s friend Bob Deschamps wins a prize at an airshow, Vera, who has long refused to make her first flight with Pierre, accepts Bob’s offer to go up with him. When Pierre learns of it, he storms off at once with his loyal mechanic Robert Nourry on a bold transatlantic flight. After hours of tense waiting, Vera discovers that Pierre has safely reached New York, and she greets his homecoming as the return of a triumphant hero.
