Synopsis
When Alex Kerner’s mother awakens from a coma she fell into before the fall of the Berlin Wall, he faces an impossible choice: conceal the collapse of the regime she devoted her life to or risk shattering her faith — and her fragile heart. Posing as a protector, Alex constructs an elaborate fiction of continuity to spare her the shock that could trigger another fatal attack.
