Is the movie Grabbers available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
If you fancy a creature feature where tentacles, whale carcasses and a very stout drinking policy decide the fate of a sleepy Irish fishing village, Grabbers (2012) is the kind of offbeat horror-comedy that delivers. On Erin Island, fishermen vanish and bloodsucking, tentacled aliens turn the tide — forcing a sloshed local cop and his by-the-book partner to realise the town’s only real weapon is booze. At Stream Tracker, we’ll take you through the film’s tone and key moments, then check where it’s streaming right now — whether that’s Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+. Grabbers earned warm notices on the festival circuit for its blend of scares and laughs, and this article will tell you if you can catch it on your preferred platform.
Synopsis
A sleepy fishing village off Ireland's coast is jolted when local skippers disappear and bloated whale carcasses begin washing up on the shore. As the death toll rises, two unlikely investigators — a reckless, hard-drinking local cop and his newly assigned, straight-laced partner from the mainland — are forced to piece together a terrifying puzzle. They uncover a horde of enormous, tentacled extraterrestrials that feed on blood and shrug off conventional weaponry. The town’s only hope turns out to be an unexpected one: alcohol proves to be the creatures’ weakness, and if the islanders want to survive the onslaught they’ll all have to get very, very drunk.
