Is the movie K-12 available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
Step into the candy-coated, slightly sinister world of Melanie Martinez’s K-12 (2019), where Cry Baby is sent to a grandiose sleepaway school whose pretty façade hides brain-controlled students, a tyrannical Principal, and a curriculum of patriarchal conditioning. Equal parts musical and allegory, the film follows Cry Baby and her unapologetic best friend as they recruit magical friends and an Angelic Spirit Guide to push back against bullying and the school’s coercive bells and rules. In this article we’ll check whether K-12 is available to stream on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, or Apple TV+. The film didn’t earn major industry awards, but it remains a distinct, visually stylized entry in the musical-activist vein.
Synopsis
Cry Baby, a resilient yet tender-hearted girl, is sent to a sinister boarding school concealed beneath an elegant exterior. She leans on her loyal, unabashed best friend who defends her when classmates—whose minds have been subverted by the Principal and his malicious staff—turn hostile. With the aid of otherworldly friends they meet along the way and the guidance of a radiant angelic spirit, they find the courage to resist and ultimately challenge the school's oppressive patriarchal control.
