Synopsis
Oh Dong-sik has always lived by the book, rigid and painfully straightforward. When his mother takes out a private loan to help secure his father's promotion to school principal, loan sharks start breathing down their necks and Dong-sik is forced into action. He transfers to an insurance sales team determined to become its top seller, despite being painfully tactless and stubborn — qualities that make selling a near-impossible task. A chance meeting with Hyugosoo, a legendary smooth-talker in the industry, changes everything: Hyugosoo breaks his own rules to take Dong-sik under his wing and subjects him to a grueling apprenticeship in the art of charm and strategic flattery. As Dong-sik slowly adopts Hyugosoo’s techniques, he must decide whether this new persona can truly replace the earnest, inflexible man he’s always been — or if his original nature will ultimately resurface.
