Synopsis

1934. When a body is found inside the British Embassy in Cairo and a classified dossier disappears, private investigator Miranda Green is summoned to untangle the mystery. The missing file carries secrets that could embarrass Buckingham Palace and trigger an international crisis. Confined within the embassy’s walls, everyone present becomes a suspect: an American press photographer, a young English student, an American film actress, the Egyptian security guard, the ambassador’s interpreter, the groundskeeper—and even the ambassador himself.
