Synopsis
Steve Ford is a Venice Beach private eye — suave with women, lousy at taking a punch, and utterly devoted to his dog Buddy. When local goons kidnap Buddy, Ford confronts their slippery boss, Spyder, and strikes an uneasy pact. With his loyal best friend at his side, he pulls out all the stops, plunging into the city's underworld to recover Spyder’s stolen cash and cocaine — and, most importantly, to bring Buddy back.
