Synopsis
Long ago the fearsome Great Gold Pirate Woonan amassed nearly a third of the world’s gold and then vanished, giving rise to a legend that he escaped to a hidden island—an elusive prize that still drives pirates to scour the seas. Starving and reckless aboard the Going Merry, Luffy and his crew are stripped of their valuables and, in a desperate bid to recover them, wreck the fleeing ship while following a lead from a young boy named Tobio, who had been taken from El Drago’s crew. Obsessed with the promise of untold riches, El Drago uses Woonan’s treasure map to locate the secret island. With the Straw Hats scattered and each member thrust into peril, they must find one another and prevent El Drago from seizing Woonan’s legendary hoard.
