Synopsis
After twelve years of losing himself in his favorite MMORPG, a player who intended to log off for good wakes to discover he has been thrust into the game's world and can’t return to reality. Now embodied as his powerful in-game persona, Ains Ooal Gown, he rules over a crumbling Sorcerer Kingdom and commands legions of undead. Once the neighboring Sacred Kingdom flourished in peace behind a vast protective wall, but that security shatters when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth launches an invasion with hordes of ruthless demi-humans. Terrified of being overrun, the theocratic state of Slane turns to its former rivals for aid. Ains marshals his arcane forces and undead army to join the Sacred Kingdom and Slane Theocracy in a desperate campaign to stop the Demon Emperor’s advance.
