Synopsis
In a partially submerged, near-future Miami, Nicolas Bannister ekes out a solitary life as a battle-hardened veteran who makes a living performing a perilous service: he lets clients step back into any memory as if it were happening again. His routine existence is upended when he encounters Mae, a mysterious young woman whose presence turns a routine recovery into an intense, consuming romance. But when another client’s recollection links Mae to a string of violent incidents, Bannister is forced to dive into the shadowy archives of other people’s pasts, racing through distorted remembrances and buried secrets to discover the truth about the woman he has come to love.
