Synopsis

In 1960s Peckham, Joan Trotter is trapped in a stifling marriage to her shiftless husband Reg while raising their teenage son, Derek. The sudden return of Freddie Robdal — a charming, dangerous ex-con known for bold bank jobs, a taste for stolen art and a talent with women — after a decade behind bars ignites a series of events that disrupt Joan’s quiet life and sends ripples through the family.
