Synopsis

Set against the backdrop of a notorious 1970s scandal, this portrait follows Barbara Baekeland, an ambitious but isolated social climber trapped in an unfulfilling marriage to the aloof plastics heir Brooks Baekeland, and her fraught relationship with her only son, Antony.
