Synopsis
On the isolated South Pacific isle of Makatea, ambitious magazine editor Robin Monroe is meant to be relaxing on a weeklong holiday with her boyfriend, Frank Martin, when a sudden assignment in nearby Tahiti pulls her back to work. She hires the gruff pilot Quinn Harris—the same man who brought them to Makatea—to fly her to the assignment, but a violent storm forces an emergency touchdown on a deserted island. Initially at odds and keeping their distance, Robin and Quinn are soon compelled to put aside their differences to survive, find a way off the island, and outwit a band of pirates determined to capture them.
