Synopsis

At the opening of the Pacific campaign in World War II, Lieutenant Janet Davidson commands a group of U.S. military nurses stranded behind enemy lines in the Philippines. Tasked with tending to the injured, she strives to keep spirits high among her team — including Lieutenants Joan O'Doul and Olivia D'Arcy — preserving small comforts and even fleeting romances as they face constant peril.
