Is the movie Bottle Rocket available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
Wes Anderson’s 1996 debut Bottle Rocket is a small-scale, deadpan caper about Anthony and his scheming friend Dignan, whose harebrained plan to assemble a crew and pull off a crime involving the supposedly legendary Mr. Henry mixes awkward charm with botched getaways and awkward loyalty. Equal parts character study and heist comedy, the film helped launch Anderson and the Wilson brothers and has since become a cult favorite. It didn’t rack up major awards, but its quirky rhythms and precise comic staging are already recognizable. In this article we’ll check whether Bottle Rocket is currently streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+.
Synopsis
Freshly discharged from a psychiatric ward after a breakdown, aimless Anthony drifts through life until he reunites with his friend Dignan, who appears even more unstable. Dignan is fixated on a wild, poorly defined scheme for a string of crimes that somehow draws in his old boss, the supposedly legendary Mr. Henry.
