Synopsis
Zilan returns to her hometown seeking answers about her brother, who was killed by ISIS. The place she once knew has been transformed: simmering social and political tensions have erupted into open conflict as people rise up to demand political autonomy and security forces meet them with brutal repression. The city's resistance lasts well over a hundred days, and Zilan soon refuses to remain a passive observer.
