Synopsis
After a fall from the spotlight, former pro quarterback Paul Crewe is serving time in a Texas federal prison, where the conniving Warden Hazen coerces him into helping the guards’ football squad. Instead, Crewe proposes a scrimmage that evolves into a full-scale match, and he ends up leading a ragtag team of inmates on the field. With the help of Nate Scarborough, an incarcerated ex-NFL player and coach, Crewe must rally his men against the guards’ brutality and the warden’s attempts to manipulate the result.
