Synopsis

Djibi lives alone with his eight-year-old daughter, Sofia. Each night he weaves an elaborate tale to send her to sleep, and the moment she drifts off those invented worlds ignite somewhere beyond imagination: a realm of knights, pirates and dragons where Sofia is forever the princess to be rescued and Djibi the fearless Prince who comes to her aid. Three years later, Sofia’s entry into middle school signals the end of childhood; she no longer needs bedtime stories, and her father must face the painful truth of letting her grow and slip away. At the same time, in the Storyworld the Prince is confronted with his greatest quest yet—forced to confront who he is and claim a destiny in a place that may no longer have room for him.
