Synopsis

Haunted by vivid nightmares years after his unit was ambushed in the Gulf War, Major Ben Marco begins to suspect that his former comrade, Sergeant Raymond Shaw—now a contender for the vice presidency—is not the wartime hero everyone believes. As Shaw’s political ascent accelerates, Marco’s unease deepens, and when he discovers a strange implant hidden in his back, suppressed memories of the true events slowly resurface.
