Is the movie Tomboy available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, I check where to watch Céline Sciamma's Tomboy (2012), a quiet coming-of-age story about ten‑year‑old Laure who slips into the identity of "Mickaël" for a summer of playground games, football matches, long sunny afternoons and tentative first kisses. Praised on the festival circuit and the recipient of several festival awards, Tomboy is a small, intimate film built from swings, scraped knees and the fragile work of becoming oneself. In this article, the team looks at whether Tomboy is streaming on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ and explains how to find it on each service.
Synopsis
Laure is ten, a tomboy who’d rather play football and wear sweaters than fuss over dolls and dresses. When her family relocates, local girl Lisa assumes Laure is a boy; tempted by the freedom of a new name, Laure adopts the persona of Mickaël. The summer that follows is filled with sunlit afternoons, playground escapades and hesitant first kisses. But as the new school year approaches and whispers begin to spread among friends and family, Laure must decide what keeping this identity will cost—and face an uncertain future.
