Is the movie Traffic available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?

At Stream Tracker, we take a close look at Traffic (2000) — Steven Soderbergh’s hard-hitting, multi-threaded dive into the United States’ war on drugs. From a suburban father discovering his daughter’s cocaine addiction to a Mexican cop risking everything to testify against a corrupt general, and a cartel boss’s wife forced to learn the brutal rules of trafficking, Traffic lays bare the moral fog and human cost of the narcotics trade. The film won four Academy Awards, including Best Director (Soderbergh) and Best Supporting Actor (Benicio Del Toro), and remains one of the most powerful portrayals of cartel violence, undercover operations and political fallout. This article explains where you can stream Traffic right now — whether you’re searching on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or Apple TV+ — and what to expect from each platform’s offering.

Synopsis

Interwoven narratives expose the human cost of America’s battle against narcotics: the newly appointed director of the federal drug-control agency faces a private crisis when he discovers his highly accomplished daughter is secretly using cocaine in their affluent suburban home; in Mexico, a morally compromised yet determined police investigator agrees to risk everything by testifying against a high-ranking general who has been colluding with a drug cartel; and in San Diego, the arrest of a ruthless trafficker forces his sheltered, glamorous wife to confront and learn the violent mechanics of his operation if she hopes to preserve the life of privilege she has always known.
