Synopsis
Stranded near the summit of K2, the world's second-highest peak, climber Annie Garrett transmits a desperate radio call to base camp. Brother Peter intercepts her signal and quickly organizes a rescue team determined to reach Annie and her companions before the mountain's lethal conditions overtake them. When they locate Annie injured and trapped inside an ice cavern, the mission unravels into a sequence of terrifying setbacks that threaten to abort the rescue — and to claim the rescuers themselves.
