Synopsis
Max Renn, the head of a sleazy TV station desperate to boost flagging ratings, stumbles on Videodrome, a late-night shock program centered on sadistic punishments, and decides to put it on the air. After his girlfriend disappears following an audition for the show, he launches an investigation into its origins and gradually uncovers the terrifying possibility that the brutality on screen might not be purely staged.
