Is the TV show Attacker You! available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we like to dig up where classic shows live in today’s streaming landscape. This piece is about Attacker You! (1984), the 80s volleyball drama that follows spirited 13-year-old You Hazuki (known in some Western dubs as Mila, Jeanne or Juana) as she moves from Osaka to Tokyo, chases her dream on the court and confronts family secrets while her younger brother Sunny shadows every match. Expect spikes, serves, clutch sets and that underdog team spirit that made the series a staple of vintage sports anime. In the article that follows, the team checks whether you can watch Attacker You! on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+—what versions (sub/dub) are available, regional differences, and whether full seasons or only select episodes turn up on each platform.
Synopsis
You Hazuki (called Mila, Jeanne or Juana in some Western dubs) is a spirited and determined thirteen-year-old who leaves Osaka for Tokyo to live with her father, Toshihiko — a cameraman who has just returned from Peru — and to start junior high. Her mother left when You was very young, so she and her devoted little brother Sunny, who follows her everywhere from school to volleyball matches, rely on each other. As You throws herself into school life and her passion for volleyball, she becomes intrigued by Kyushi Tajima, a striking blonde who appears on television covering the sport, and puzzled by the fierce anger her father displays whenever Kyushi’s name comes up.
