Is the TV show C.O.P.S. available on Netflix, Disney+, Prime or Apple TV+?
At Stream Tracker, we dig into where classic shows live today — and C.O.P.S. (1988) is a perfect case for a streaming stakeout. Created by DIC and spun from Hasbro’s C.O.P.S. ’N’ Crooks toyline, this cartoon sent a squad of future-law-enforcement heroes into Empire City to “fight crime in a future time,” facing Big Boss and his gang of crooks. In this article the Stream Tracker team checks whether you can catch the original episodes (and the CBS-era reruns known as CyberCOPS) on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or AppleTV+, notes regional differences and edition details, and points you to the best way to patrol the archives of this retro, action-figure–inspired series.
Synopsis
Set in a near-future metropolis, this animated series from DIC Entertainment and Celebrity Home Entertainment follows a high-tech police force defending Empire City from the crime boss Big Boss and his band of crooks. First broadcast from 1988 to 1989 and inspired by Hasbro’s 1988 C.O.P.S. ’N’ Crooks action-figure line, the show later returned in reruns on CBS Saturday mornings in 1993 under the title CyberCOPS after an unrelated primetime program adopted the same name in 1989.
