Fire Force

Synopsis

elite firefighting units confront a terrifying phenomenon in which people suddenly burst into living flames—Infernals—that threaten the city. What begins as first-generation cases of spontaneous human combustion soon evolves into later generations who can wield fire while keeping their human shape. Young Shinra Kusakabe, nicknamed “Devil’s Footprints” for his ability to ignite his feet on command, enlists with Special Fire Force Company 8, a squad of fellow flame-users dedicated to hunting down and extinguishing Infernals. When a shadowy faction starts manufacturing these fiery monsters, Shinra is drawn into a conspiracy that may reveal the truth behind the blaze that killed his family twelve years earlier.
