Kill la Kill

Synopsis

Honnouji Academy is gripped by the iron rule of its student council, commanded with relentless authority by Satsuki Kiryuin. Transfer student Ryuko Matoi appears on campus wielding a gigantic blade—the severed half of a colossal pair of scissors—driven by a single purpose: to find the woman who killed her father and possesses the matching blade. Rumors claim Satsuki knows the killer’s identity, but when Ryuko confronts the council she is overwhelmed and soundly defeated by their elite enforcers and the devastating power of the Goku Uniforms. On the brink of despair, Ryuko's fate shifts when she forms a bond with Senketsu, a sentient Kamui whose abilities level the playing field and give her a fighting chance.
