Synopsis

Mai Kazuki is a young elementary-school girl who dreams of becoming a magician, but her skills aren’t yet enough to join her grandparents’ Magiccarat troupe. One night she watches a strange beam of light enter a heart-shaped mirror; the light is Topo, a mirror fairy who animates Mai’s favorite stuffed flying squirrel and gives her a bracelet adorned with the four card suits. The bracelet can turn into a bubble wand that transforms Mai into an 18-year-old stage magician known as Magical Emi. In that form she uses magic to help people and to take part in her grandparents’ performances.
